A Communications Professor leads courses in communications, such as organizational communications, public relations, radio/television broadcasting, and journalism. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.
Open until filled Description The Department of Radio-Television-Film periodically hires temporary professional-track faculty to teach graduate or undergraduate courses in this specialization (Media Studies). Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding.

Ph.D. in Media Studies or closely related field by the time of appointment is required. A strong record of teaching at the university level is preferred.
