Located inGreater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college,offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses inWellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.Position Summary:
MassBay Community College seeks qualified part timeinstructors for the current and future semesters to teach courses in Law,Criminal Justice, Government, Paralegal Studies, and/or related fields. Ouradjunct instructors hold a master's degree in a related discipline or JurisDoctorate degree and have obtained appropriate certification and/or licensurewhere applicable. The ideal candidate willjoin a vibrant educational community, and have a desire and ability to serve apopulation of students with various needs and backgrounds. The candidate is expected to commit toexcellence in teaching and learning, collaboration and professionaldevelopment. Adjunct faculty are expectedto deliver course materials in a learner-centered environment conductive toengaging students in the learning process. The faculty member in this positioncommunicates consistently and effectively with students, faculty andadministrators, and responds to communications within a 24-hour period of time.The faculty is responsible for managing this course through timely grading ofassignments, providing substantial student feedback with assignments, andsubmission of clinical evaluations, attendance and grades.
