This position is for face-to-face instruction; instructors are expected to be on campus. Applications are reviewed as instructional needs arise. Teaching assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities. Example of Duties Teaching courses in the fall and/or spring semesters in School of Legal Studies in a classroom setting Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G-Suite applications, and the faculty portal. Assessing and reporting student performance

Qualifications Education:

An earned Master's Degree in legal studies or a related field is required; J.D. or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience :

Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs. Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team. Supplemental Information

COMPENSATION

Compensation is based on academic credentials, course assignment and course enrollment.

Undergraduate Courses Master's Prepared:

Up to $933.33 per credit hour•

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:

Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour•

Graduate Courses Master's Prepared:

Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour•

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:

Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour•Compensation is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the assigned course.
