Job Description

Warren County Community College is seeking a dynamic and student-centered professional to serve as Teaching Administrator - Forensic Science. This full-time, in-person, 12-month position provides leadership for the College's Forensic Science program while teaching courses, supporting curriculum development, supervising adjunct faculty, and advising students pursuing careers in forensic science and related disciplines. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Teaching Administrator is responsible for coordinating program operations, supporting assessment and accreditation activities, maintaining relationships with law enforcement agencies and industry partners, and ensuring that curriculum remains aligned with current workforce and transfer expectations. The position also provides academic advisement, assists with student recruitment and outreach efforts, and supports experiential learning opportunities that enhance student success. Qualified candidates should possess a master's degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related field. Professional certifications or specialized forensic training are preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in forensic science, criminal investigation, laboratory science, law enforcement, or a related field. Previous college-level teaching experience and strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be committed to academic excellence, student engagement, and workforce preparation.
