The Graduate Program of Arts in Criminal Justice program at Delaware Valley University invites applications for adjunct instructor positions. This is a pooled position which will serve as an electronic file from which candidates will be drawn on an as needed basis. The program offers a hybrid model of instruction, wherein each class is 50% face-to-face and 50% online. Courses are offered in the evenings.

Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Criminology or Legal Studies Demonstrated teaching excellence Experience working with diverse populations

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree with significant work experience in law enforcement administration, public safety, courts, corrections, or homeland security. Demonstrated teaching excellence Experience working with diverse populations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach a specified course Prepare course materials Stay current on topics and practices related to the discipline Provide support and guidance to students Evaluate student performance Participate in Outcomes Assessment practices Work with Graduate Program Director Learn and/or update the use of Blackboard (DE101 certification training provided) Delaware Valley University reserves the right to revise, change or modify job responsibilities and position qualifications as the need arises.
