The Teacher Development and Student Intervention Specialist- position is designed to build teachers' capacity in content and pedagogy by providing and supporting ongoing professional learning, coaching and feedback and monitoring and analyzing student learning as a means of deepening teachers' content knowledge, improving practice, and elevating student achievement.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Valid Texas teaching credentials in the area(s) and grade level(s) of assignmentSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Strong subject area content knowledge as appropriate to assignment Exceptional communication skills Knowledge and experience in curriculum and instructional strategy implementation Knowledge and experience with rigorous curriculum and instructional strategies Knowledge of effective instructional strategies and research-based best practices Evidence of skills in planning, organization, and collaborationPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of effective professional development practices Knowledge of English Language Learners (ELL) strategies Passion for increasing student learning Experience using student and campus level data to select, implement and differentiate instructional methods, designed to meet each student's individual needsExperience:
At least 3 years of recent successful classroom teaching experience Minimum Salary $63,810 ( 2025-26 Comp Plan)- Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
