Many opportunities for qualified adjunct instructors are available at SFSC. Adjunct (part-time) instructors are hired on an as-needed, term-by-term (or per course) basis. Instructional supervisors review the materials submitted by prospective adjunct instructors and contact them directly as needed, based on their educational preparation, experience levels, and availability. By applying for this position, you will be joining the part-time instructional pool for consideration as a prospective adjunct instructor. Minimum of an Associate degree from an institutionally accredited organization required. Bachelor's preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as a radiographer required. Post-secondary teaching and distance learning experience strongly preferred. Must be currently ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered. Must be familiar with the JRCERT standards, ASRT curriculum, and ARRT content specifications for the examination in radiography. Proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising required. Must possess excellent leadership, customer service, communication, organizational/interpersonal skills and excellent writing and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to function in a stressful work environment and be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently while meeting required deadlines.Additional Information:
