Monday-Friday About the Role The ESE Specialist provides procedural, compliance, and instructional support for all Exceptional Student Education services at the Davie campus. This position may be filled as a school‑based employee or contracted provider , depending on candidate qualifications. Language aligned with current Broward ESE Specialist responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Serve as the campus ESE compliance lead Coordinate all required ESE meetings (IEP, eligibility, reevaluations) Assist teachers in implementing IEPs and monitoring progress Ensure parents receive draft IEPs and procedural safeguards Maintain IDEA compliance and correct errors identified internally or externally Support MTSS/RtI processes and data reviews Provide guidance on accommodations, SDI, and modifications Use electronic systems to generate and maintain IEP documentation Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators Review current ESE regulations, updates, and best practices Ensure adherence to safety, ethics, and nondiscrimination policies Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher Florida Certification in at least one area of exceptionality Strong knowledge of IDEA, Florida statutes, and compliance requirements Experience facilitating IEP meetings (Preferred) Experience supporting teachers with SDI, accommodations, and progress monitoring Strong communication and organizational skills Why Work With Us National Blue Ribbon School Cognia accredited Small, structured campus with strong leadership Collaborative environment with master teachers FRS available for full‑time hires Contract option available for specialists preferring flexible arrangements Benefits Florida Retirement System (FRS) Pension Health Insurance Life Insurance Optional Vision & Dental Insurance Long‑Term Disability Paid Time Off Professional Development Assistance Eligible for Bonuses Paid through summer monthsBenefits:
