Job Description

Professional Learning Specialist At ESS our motto is, "Every day counts!" We take opportunities every day to grow and better our company as well as our employees.
OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Professional Learning Specialist to strengthen and develop substitute teacher and paraprofessional performance by delivering impactful training and feedback aligned with company standards.
SCHEDULE
Working Hours:
Part-time Monday-Friday - work hours vary based on class training schedule
Work Location:
On-site within
Hendry County School District Location:
Travel to assigned district may be required and is covered by mileage reimbursement.
STIPEND:
$225 (based upon extensive teaching/administrative experience) per five-hour training session plus travel mileage reimbursement at the company rate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with school and district leadership to identify professional development needs, implement coaching strategies, and recommend areas for instructional improvement. Communicate and model research‑based instructional practices, providing individualized, classroom‑embedded coaching to training participants. Support the implementation of district initiatives, including professional development curriculum frameworks and instructional programs for school district staff. Facilitate learning experiences that promote individualized adult learning principles, adaptability, and continuous professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree. Master's degree strongly preferred Minimum of 8 years master teaching or school leadership experience. Strong presentation skills. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
