In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive curricula that foster active learning and academic growth. Your expertise will support students' development in various subjects, utilizing innovative learning technologies and instructional strategies. Responsibilities Develop and refine curriculum content aligned with educational standards and learner needs, incorporating instructional design best practices. Deliver engaging lessons both in classroom settings and through online platforms using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or similar tools. Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere conducive to learning while maintaining discipline and engagement. Utilize research and current educational trends to enhance teaching methods and incorporate new learning technology tools. Qualifications Proven experience in higher education teaching or adult education with strong classroom management skills. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for diverse learner populations. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Blackboard or equivalent platforms, for course delivery and management. Demonstrated ability to conduct research, incorporate learning technology, and stay current with educational innovations. Excellent communication skills for working with students, mentoring, and providing academic advising. Prior university experience or extensive classroom experience in a higher education setting is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple courses or modules simultaneously.
