Job Description

Barton Community College seeks a part-time replacement Instructional Specialist to change the lives of individuals. This position is ideal for someone who wants to effect great change in the lives of others by helping students in class sessions downtown. The individual selected will be responsible for delivering instruction based on the 2014 GED Exam, helping students achieve their high school diploma. Qualified applicants should have a bachelor's degree; two to five years of teaching experience (adult education preferred); strong classroom management skills; ability to communicate effectively; strong organizational and record keeping skills; and the ability to carry out job responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
