Coordinator of Instruction Nunez Community College - 4.0 Chalmette, LA Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Professional development assistance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Academic institution experience Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Coordinator of Instruction to support the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships in advancing the College's strategic partnerships and dual enrollment initiatives This role is essential in the coordination of the day-to-day administration of the dual enrollment program, serves as a liaison among partner schools, students, faculty, and College departments, and facilitates enrollment, billing, reporting, and student support processes. Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and the Interim Vice Chancellor of Strategic Partnerships and Engagement, the Coordinator helps ensure the effective delivery of dual enrollment opportunities that promote student access, success, and workforce readiness. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programs that meet organizational standards and educational best practices. Provide leadership and supervision to teaching staff, ensuring effective team management and professional development. Coordinate curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and instructional resources to support student success. Support teachers in integrating educational technology and administrative software to enhance classroom learning. Oversee program development initiatives aimed at improving early childhood education center operations and outcomes. Collaborate with school administrative directors and other stakeholders to align instructional goals with organizational objectives. Monitor compliance with educational policies, childcare regulations, and accreditation standards. Facilitate staff training sessions focused on teaching methodologies, classroom management, and administrative procedures. Manage personnel records, conduct performance evaluations, and support staff recruitment efforts. Lead efforts in program evaluation, data analysis, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement in educational services. Duties and Responsibilities Assists Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships with maintaining relationships with leaders in private and public sectors to determine needs for new courses or support programs for surrounding high schools, and other third-party partners. Supports the College's overall enrollment goals by implementing strategies that meet the needs of high school administrators and complies with the college's internal policies and administrative procedures to fulfill objectives, meet timelines, and complete outreach plans for targeted schools and student populations. Serves as a liaison between partnering school site administrators and the College's Deans and Program Chairs to coordinate the scheduling of dual enrollment course offerings. Receives high school enrollment data, ensures its accuracy, and works with the Registrar's office to enroll dual enrollment students. Performs dual enrollment billing procedures for state entities and collaborates with the Business office to ensure billing accuracy. Serves as a point of contact for dual enrollment students. Complete the credentialed faculty pay process. Communicate with faculty to obtain student progress reports and help the students and partners navigate any concerns that may arise. This includes grade reporting for each school. Assumes special responsibilities on assignment from the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and the Interim Vice Chancellor of Strategic Partnerships. Minimum Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Experience At least two years of experience in higher education administration or teaching.
