CTE Frameworks Alignment Curriculum Writer for Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing, Drafting/CAD, HVAC, and Metal Fabrication & Joining Technologies
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop curriculum documents, including Scope and Sequence aligned with Massachusetts Chapter 74 and DESE Vocational Technical Education Frameworks Ensure curriculum aligns with MA State Boards, industry standards, competencies, and best practices in each respective program Incorporate academic, technical, employability, and safety competencies, including OSHA standards Align curriculum with licensure, certification, and postsecondary/career readiness expectations where applicable Create scope and sequence documents by
BHR & DESE
due dates Collaborate with colleagues and BHR administration to ensure compliance and clarity Revise curriculum based on feedback as needed Required revisions must be completed to receive payment
HOURS/COMPENSATION
Up to $2,000. Based on the completion level of the Scope and Sequence, using the Blue Hills Regional provided template. Work will be completed in August and September, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Chapter 74 license preferred Experience teaching respective vocational area within a vocational/technical school setting preferred Familiarity with Chapter 74 regulations and DESE vocational technical frameworks Experience in curriculum writing, instructional design, or program development preferred Understanding of vocational practices, procedures, expectations, and the instructional practices that will facilitate students' proficiency in their technical area Ability and willingness to work with administration to achieve desired result
