In this role, you will design and deliver innovative curricula, utilize cutting-edge learning technologies, and provide personalized mentorship to diverse adult learners. Duties Develop comprehensive curricula tailored to course objectives, incorporating instructional design principles and current research. Manage and utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to deliver course content, assessments, and feedback effectively. Plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of adult learners, ensuring clarity, relevance, and interactive participation. Facilitate classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment, encouraging active participation, and addressing diverse student needs. Provide academic advising and mentorship to guide students through their educational journey, supporting their personal and professional growth. Conduct research on emerging learning technologies and integrate innovative tools into teaching practices to enhance student engagement. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development projects and participate in faculty meetings to promote continuous improvement in teaching quality. Experience Proven experience in higher education teaching with a strong background in classroom management and lesson planning. Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and working with adult education populations. Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar systems for online course delivery. Experience in research related to learning technology or educational methodologies is highly desirable. Prior university experience or teaching within a higher education setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor students effectively and foster an inclusive learning environment. Knowledge of academic advising practices and experience working with diverse student populations will be advantageous.
