$25,461.60 Organizational Relationship or
Line of Authority:
Directly responsible to the District Principal in all matters pertaining to the building. Jointly responsible to appropriate Principal/Supervisor in areas of instruction and curriculum.
Statement of Duties:
Substitute daily for absent professional staff as determined by Principal/designee. Maintains and respects confidentiality of student and school personnel information. Must possess the ability to adapt to a variety of lesson plans when covering various subjects or grades. Provides summary of activities accomplished, lesson plans completed and not completed and any other additional information that the classroom teacher should be aware of. Maintains a safe and positive learning environment for all students and reports all student discipline issues to the appropriate authority. Adheres to district policies for staff. If there is not a need for a Teacher substitute for the day the BBES will be assigned another area of responsibility for the day. Performs other duties assigned by the Principal or directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.

Elementary Hours of Work:
8:45 a.m.•3:45 p.m.
Middle School Hours of Work:
8:15 a.m.•3:15 p.m.
High School Hours of Work:
7:15 a.m.•2:15 p.m.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred Licensed by the State Department of Education in Massachusetts preferred Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
