Job Description:
General Statement The Nurse Education Laboratory Coordinator collaborates with Nurse Education faculty and program leadership across the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs to support laboratory and technological components related to lab skills and clinical simulation instruction. The Coordinator ensures lab-based learning reflects current nursing practice, supports student progression, and aligns with program outcomes. This role also supports clinical simulation technologies and provides essential operational and instructional support across nurse education programs. Supervision Received Reports to the Director of Nurse Education Supervision Exercised Supervises assigned personnel supporting the Nurse Education lab and simulation environments. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of lab policies, procedures, and manuals for ADN and PN programs. Coordinate lab services related to clinical skill competencies and simulation activities across the Nurse Education curriculum. Maintain lab usage documentation and support faculty tracking needs, including student engagement and participation in lab activities. Support scheduling and coordination of open lab hours and simulation activities Ensure all instructional materials and simulation equipment reflect current clinical practice and are maintained in working condition. Oversee inventory tracking and maintenance of lab supplies, equipment, and simulation tools Support implementation and use of simulation technologies and instructional tools to enhance student learning. Maintain effective communication with faculty regarding curriculum alignment, student progress, and remediation needs. Support faculty in identifying and facilitating lab-based remediation for students requiring additional skill development. Collaborate with faculty to plan and support clinical simulations and student assessments Maintain accurate records, reports, and instructional data as required. Assist in data collection and reporting for accreditation and program evaluation purposes. Provide training and support for faculty and lab staff in the use of simulation equipment and instructional technologies. Remain current in simulation-based education and laboratory best practices through professional development. Participate in program planning and evaluation related to lab and simulation activities. Serve as a resource for students and faculty in the use of clinical lab equipment and technology. Support students through individual or group remediation sessions. Promote a culture of professionalism, inclusion, and student-centered learning in all lab environments. Perform administrative tasks associated with lab scheduling, equipment requests, and purchasing. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing clinical practice. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing. Master's Degree in Nursing Experience with clinical skills instruction and/or lab-based learning environments Experience with simulation or educational technology (or willingness to develop these skills) Strong oral and written communication skills Experience in scheduling or coordination of lab or clinical environments Familiarity with computer-assisted learning or simulation technologies Experience documenting student progress using digital platforms Supervisory or project coordination experience.

Minimum starting salary for Bachelors' level candidate is $78,818 Full salary range is $78,818to $81,811; pay grade 6 (Senior Technical Specialist). salary schedule commensurate with education and experience. Start Date August 2026 Hours This is primarily an evening position. Work hours typically include weekday evenings during class sessions. During July and August, work hours may shift to daytime. Additionally, there may be opportunities for occasional daytime hours during the academic year based on program needs.
