A Political Science Professor teaches foundational political science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Job Description:
The History and Political Science Department seeks qualified individuals to join our Political Science adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching assignments at Worcester State. Ph.D preferred; ABD considered. Typical course assignments are 100-level introductory courses such as: United States government, global politics, legal studies, and/or political theory. There is a possibility of teaching electives as listed in the current catalog as well.
Requirements:
PhD in Political Science or related field preferred; ABD considered; MA degree required. College-level teaching experience is preferred. Experience with distance learning preferred. Must have a laptop and reliable internet access.
