ABOUT THE TEAM
The Knowledge Management Department is a team dedicated to strengthening organizational learning, improving service delivery, and supporting continuous growth across SEEC. The team develops and implements knowledge management activities, promotes evidence-based practices, and uses data-driven strategies to support systems change and continuous improvement. The Knowledge Management Department also develops and delivers training and educational initiatives that equip staff with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to provide high-quality services and effectively support SEEC's mission.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL
Conduct person-driven technology Assessments Develop an expertise in high and low forms of technology and recommend appropriate resources for people Teach adult learners and people supported, specifically on combatting Ableism, and Person-Driven Tech 101 Make field-based observations Conduct person-driven technology training for people and staff Support people and their direct support staff or coaches to implement PDT foundational skills as well as skills related to devices, applications or other technology Support the integration of technology in people's PCP goals development, including developing PCP resources that help to secure funding Regularly capture and report PDT documentation and data collection Implement AT billing in iCareManager Provide support to the Knowledge Management Team for plain language curriculum and materials; collaborate with team members and colleagues on other tools and resources.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree with at least one year of experience related to the role SHIFT, C-SUN or other Assistive Technology certifications a bonus A familiarity with technology applications or platforms for learning Demonstrated teaching and curriculum development expertise A proven track record for supporting a wide range of people with varying abilities and learning styles An appreciation for SEEC's values of person-driven services Organizational, documentation, and data collection skills
