Position Overview:
MSAD 61 is seeking someone who can provide academic and instructional support to teachers across the district by helping them implement best practices in the classroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Offer continuous instructional guidance and consultation to teachers and school teams across grade levels and content areas. Analyze student performance and instructional data to inform support strategies and identify areas of need. Support the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices that improve student achievement. Assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting the rollout and ongoing use of district-adopted curricula. Work with school teams to ensure alignment between curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Support teachers in understanding curriculum standards, pacing guides, and instructional resources. Facilitate high-quality professional development sessions on curriculum, instruction, and academic interventions. Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) models in collaboration with school teams. Build teacher capacity in identifying and delivering targeted academic interventions to meet diverse student needs. Create or curate professional learning materials, resources, and tools for use during trainings and ongoing support. Serve as a liaison between the district office and school sites to ensure consistency and effectiveness of instructional practices. Collaborate with other coordinators to align efforts across content areas and support services. Maintain clear, regular communication with school leaders and district stakeholders regarding progress, needs, and outcomes.
