Open until filled About Zumbro Education District (ZED): ZED is an education district serving six member districts: Triton, Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, Byron, Hayfield, and Blooming Prairie. ZED offers a wide array of general education and special education services to our member districts (please refer to for details).
Job Summary:
Coordinate all the special education services and programming for Byron Public Schools, which includes (but is not limited to) ensuring all due process regulations are followed, designing effective/efficient special education programs, managing special education staff, fostering positive relationships with district staff/families, and attending necessary IEP/district/administrative meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Possess at least 5 years of experience in a licensed special education setting and hold a valid Minnesota education license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess Director of Special Education licensure and special education administrative experience
