As the Multilingual Outreach and Support Specialist, you will lead ongoing, community-based outreach efforts and ensure meaningful two-way communication with traditionally underserved communities, while also supporting programs within the Public Engagement Division.

Duties will include:

+ Design, implement, and sustain direct family and community engagement (FACE) initiatives that ensure agency compliance with applicable state and federal stakeholder engagement and language access requirements.

+ Develop and maintain comprehensive multilingual resources and lead strategic, audience-responsive communication efforts for the division.

+ Provide leadership in the design and execution of engagement strategies, while facilitating on-the-ground outreach with communities and ensuring stakeholder perspectives are actively incorporated into agency decision-making.

Telework:

This position is eligible for hybrid telework. Employees living within 50 miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. Employees may reside outside the state of Minnesota if they live in a state bordering Minnesota and are within 50 miles of the primary work location. Existing employees who were approved to telework from a bordering state and more than 50 miles from their work location before June 1, 2025, may retain this arrangement unless they move farther away.

• Minimum Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in community engagement which would include working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

Experience must include:

+ Experience conducting data analysis

+ Experience providing training or giving presentations

+ Project Management Experience A Doctorate degree may substitute for two years of experience; A Master's degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; A Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; An Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience.
