The Instructional Coordinator will serve as a classroom teacher and instructional leader Monday through Thursday, while Fridays will focus primarily on instructional leadership, teacher coaching, curriculum planning, and preparation for the upcoming week.

Compensation Annual Salary:

$60,000-$75,000 , based on qualifications and experience. Monday-Thursday Responsibilities Serve as a classroom teacher and Cohort Leader. Teach core academic subjects to assigned student cohorts. Collaborate with Cohort Assistants and adjunct teachers to support student learning. Monitor student achievement and academic progress. Maintain appropriate student academic records. Use designated planning time for lesson planning, assessment, curriculum coordination, and instructional preparation. Support consistent curriculum and instructional practices across programs and campuses. Friday - Innovation & Instructional Leadership Fridays will have a different structure from the regular Monday-Thursday teaching schedule and will focus on Innovation Day and instructional leadership , including: Travel between Bethlehem campuses as needed. Coach and support Early Childhood lead teachers. Conduct classroom walkthroughs and provide constructive instructional feedback. Model instructional strategies when appropriate. Meet with teachers to discuss instructional needs and goals. Review student progress and academic data provided by Dr. Jay. Prepare and organize the following week's lesson deployment for ECEC and Microschool. Ensure teachers have the lesson plans, resources, and tools needed to be successful. Assist with curriculum alignment and instructional planning. Prepare instructional resources and professional development materials. Collaborate with the Head of School and other instructional leaders on academic priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Classroom teaching experience. Demonstrated instructional effectiveness. Strong communication, organization, and planning skills. Ability to coach and support colleagues in a respectful and constructive manner. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, differentiation, and student progress monitoring. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Commitment to Bethlehem's Christian mission and educational philosophy.

Preferred:

Teaching certification or Lutheran educator credential, depending on applicable school requirements. Reporting Relationship The Instructional Coordinator reports directly to the Head of School and works collaboratively with instructional leaders, Cohort Leaders, Cohort Assistants, Early Childhood teachers, and adjunct teachers.
