You do not need years of sleep-medicine experience to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable teaching, confident speaking to individuals, able to learn medical equipment, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. Training on our equipment and processes will be provided. This position is more than handing a patient a machine. You will explain how the equipment works, help patients find the right mask, demonstrate comfort features, and ensure they leave feeling prepared, not overwhelmed. Primary Responsibilities Conduct individual medical equipment setup classes Teach patients how to operate and care for prescribed sleep-therapy equipment Review prescriptions and verify that equipment is programmed according to the provider's order Fit masks and help patients identify the appropriate style and size Explain comfort settings, humidification, and common troubleshooting techniques Educate patients about cleaning, maintenance, and replacement supplies Explain insurance usage and compliance requirements Enroll patients in remote-monitoring platforms when applicable Complete setup documentation and obtain required signatures Coordinate with providers, insurance staff, and other members of the Parkway team Support patients who may feel nervous or hesitant about beginning therapy Assist with patient follow-up and equipment troubleshooting when needed Who Would Be a Good Fit? This position may be a strong fit for someone with experience as a: Medical assistant Patient educator DME or medical equipment specialist Respiratory therapy technician Sleep-medicine employee Healthcare trainer Medical office employee with strong patient-facing experience Previous CPAP or sleep-medicine experience is helpful, but it is not required for a candidate with strong teaching, communication, and technical-learning skills. Prior medical experience is required. Qualifications Experience in healthcare, patient education, medical equipment, or customer service is preferred Comfortable speaking to individuals and small groups Patient and able to explain technical information in simple terms Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Comfortable learning medical devices and software platforms Organized and able to manage a structured class schedule Professional, dependable, and compassionate High school diploma or equivalent required Relevant clinical credentials or certifications are welcome but not required unless applicable to the candidate's scope of practice

Schedule Monday-Thursday:

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Friday:
