The Coordinator of Migrant Education and Adult Literacy Programs reports to the Director of Adult Education & Instructional Support Services. The Coordinator of Migrant Education and Adult Literacy Programs is responsible for assisting with the operations of the following programs as directed by theDirector of Adult Education & Instructional Support Services:
Migrant Education (METS) BOCES staff Adult Literacy Programs BOCES staff Special projects related toMigrant and Adult Literacy Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the grants and budgets associated with each of the programs Create data collection plans, assist with data collection and analysis as required in each program/grant Monitor and manage all program activities and budgets and adjust as needed Prepare final grant reports as well as grant renewals Establish and implement the Program Work Plan for the METS Program Work with P-12 school districts regarding the identification and recruitment of Migrant students Work with the school districts to obtain State Education data and ensure correct reporting Network with community-based agencies Supervise and evaluate staff as assigned Facilitate meetings and attend staff professional development as required or requested Attend all required grant or program State or Federal meetings either virtually or in person Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Adult Education & Instructional Support Services, the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Support Services, or theDistrict Superintendent Note:
