: Provide advocacy and instructional leadership for the understanding and use of technology in classroom instruction. Continue training and supporting the use of Office 365 (i.e., Teams, SharePoint,) and other instructional tools.TYPICAL DUTIES
: Train teachers and support staff to effectively incorporate technology into classroom instruction and assessment. (Train the trainers: Coordination) Provide individualized, classroom-based, technical/instructional assistance. Present technology ideas and information to various school audiences (Board, faculties, school personnel groups). Evaluate/demonstrate instructional technology hardware and software products. Study/communicate technology ideas and trends that hold future promise for classroom instruction and assessment. Serve as a member of a regional technology resource team (Instructional Technology Specialists Program). Conduct planning, applied research, and evaluation projects. Manage and train support staff on Student Information Systems. Liaison with steering committees for Staff Development and Curriculum Development. Perform other duties appropriate to the position as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
:Experience:
5+ years of teaching and/or training. Experience using computers in Instruction. Experience in training, staff and curriculum development.Education:
Current New York State Teacher Certificate. Course work in instructional technology and computing.Benefits
