3008176903-2 Apply for this job now Job Description ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Intervention Specialist to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. In this role, you will deliver individualized, evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions, aligned with IEPs and treatment plans, within school and community settings. You will collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families, collect and analyze progress data, adjust strategies to meet student goals, and help create safe, inclusive learning environments. Responsibilities Deliver individualized academic and behavioral interventions aligned with IEPs and treatment plans Conduct observations and collect data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to design and implement support strategies Support safe, structured, and inclusive learning environments for students with diverse needs Document services, progress notes, and reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional collaboration Provide coaching and education to parents and caregivers on behavior and learning strategies Implement crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques when needed Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards Engage in professional development on evidence-based practices and intervention methods Required Skills Behavioral intervention planning IEP development and implementation Functional behavior assessment (FBA) Data collection and progress monitoring Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) familiarity Classroom and behavior management Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Parent and caregiver coaching Special education documentation Crisis de-escalation techniques
