We currently offer LPN, CNA, and Medical Assistant programs and are in an active phase of multi-state expansion. As we grow, we are formalizing a campus hospitality and facilities function to ensure our physical environments match the quality of our academic programs. Our goal is to operate campuses that are not only compliant and functional, but welcoming, disciplined, and intentionally managed, where every operational detail contributes to a smooth, professional, and supportive daily experience. About the Role The Manager of Teaching & Learning is a hands-on instructional leadership role responsible for the day-to-day quality of teaching at Falcon Institute. Reporting to the President, you are the person on the ground ensuring that instructional standards are upheld consistently in every classroom, lab, and clinical setting. You translate institutional academic priorities into practical, structured faculty support. Where the President sets the pedagogical vision, you execute it: observing instruction, delivering feedback, onboarding new faculty, coordinating professional development, and managing the details that determine whether students are actually learning. You are a builder of instructional consistency and a trusted resource for the faculty you support.
What You'll Own Instructional Quality & Faculty Support Day-to-Day Classroom Standards:
Observe instruction across all programs, modalities, and instructors on a structured, ongoing basis, documenting findings and providing actionable, professional feedback.
Faculty Coaching & Development:
Serve as the primary coach and resource for full-time, part-time, lab, clinical, and workshop faculty. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
New Faculty Onboarding:
Manage the full onboarding experience for new instructors, ensuring they understand Falcon's pedagogical standards, classroom expectations, and student population before their first day of teaching.
Professional Development Programming:
Lead structured professional development sessions and learning communities for faculty. Coordinate scheduling, materials, and follow-up to ensure sessions translate into observable practice.
Student Learning Outcomes Remediation Coordination:
Oversee the quality and consistency of remediation instruction, ensuring students who need additional support receive it in a structured, effective, and timely manner.
NCLEX Preparation:
Manage NCLEX preparation workshop instruction, with a focus on building genuine student readiness and sound clinical reasoning, not just test familiarity.
Outcome Monitoring:
Monitor student progression data and work with academic leadership to identify instructional patterns that correspond to learning gaps or cohort-level outcomes.
Operational & Administrative Coordination Instructional Records & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of classroom observations, feedback sessions, faculty development activities, and student outcome data. Produce clear summaries for academic leadership.
Academic Scheduling Support:
Manage scheduling logistics for faculty development, remediation sessions, and NCLEX workshops. Coordinate with the Operations and Scheduling teams to resolve conflicts.
Curriculum Rollout Support:
Support the implementation of new curriculum and instructional materials across programs, ensuring faculty are prepared and resources are in place ahead of rollout.
Classroom Culture & Environment Instructional Standards Enforcement:
Uphold a classroom culture where serious learning is expected, supported, and the norm. Address instructional performance concerns promptly and professionally in coordination with the Director.
Student-Centered Environment:
Support faculty in building structured, respectful learning environments that serve a diverse adult student population. Provide concrete strategies and follow-up coaching as needed. What You Bring A background in education, instructional design, learning science, nursing, or a related field, with direct experience in faculty support, academic coordination, or instructional coaching. A genuine belief that teaching is a craft that can be observed, developed, and continuously improved, and the ability to communicate that belief in a way that motivates and develops faculty. Demonstrated experience delivering structured, constructive feedback to adult professionals in a way that leads to improved practice. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities—observations, feedback cycles, onboarding schedules, development programming—without losing track of the details.
Comfort with data:
the ability to read student progression reports, NCLEX outcomes, and cohort comparisons and translate findings into clear recommendations. Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional student populations is a meaningful advantage. Knowledge of nursing education, accreditation standards, or clinical instruction is a plus but not a requirement. What this role demands above all is mastery of teaching and learning itself. Professional communication skills to work effectively with faculty, academic leadership, and operations staff across the organization. Compensation $75,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Candidates with demonstrated multi-site real estate and build-out experience may be considered above the posted range. The role includes full mileage and travel reimbursement for all Falcon-related travel. Location & Travel Primary location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (in-person, required).
Travel:
Out-of-state travel required for campus scouting, lease negotiations, new campus launches, and as required by standard operations.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Benefits:
401(k) Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off
Work Location:
In person
