Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational programs. In this role, you will collaborate with educators to create engaging, effective curricula that meet diverse learner needs. The Curriculum Coordinator is the person who makes that promise true in every classroom, every week. You own the instructional quality of the campus Duties Oversee curriculum coordination across all classrooms and assist educators with day-to-day implementation, translating Ivybrook's framework into concrete unit plans, provocations, and materials lists that teachers can pick up and run on Monday morning. Model lessons in other classrooms , especially for new provocations, tricky transitions, or teachers newer to the Reggio and Montessori approaches. Hold the "environment as teacher" standard across the campus: natural materials, accessible provocations, purposeful documentation of children's work, and neutral, uncluttered spaces. Own individualized assessment. Keep developmental profiles current for every child and coach teachers on how to differentiate for the child in front of them. Lead ongoing professional development for the teaching team, focused on one instructional priority at a time and carried through to classroom practice. Onboard new teachers in Ivybrook's pedagogy within their first 30 days so they are confident in the "why," not just the daily schedule. Build and support a qualified team of early childhood educators to continually enhance our reputation in early-childhood education. Partner with the Principal / Director on the learning story families see — documentation panels, conference preparation, and curriculum nights. Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting and support programs and activities that engage and educate young children. Attend school functions throughout the academic year. Collaborate and participate with the team for the Parent Teacher Committee and conferences Serve as the campus's pedagogical voice for families asking why Ivybrook teaches the way it does. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) 5+ years teaching preschool-age children; experience mentoring or coaching other teachers strongly preferred Working knowledge of Reggio Emilia and/or Montessori practice Meets Pennsylvania staff qualification requirements and can obtain PA Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI clearances Warm with children, direct with adults, and organized enough to run a curriculum calendarProven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or related roles within educational settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and engagingly. Proficiency in productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) for content creation and project coordination. Experience with classroom teaching or training & development enhances understanding of practical application in educational environments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
