Matt Connell Job Summary/Basic Functions The Associate Director of the Instructional Design Center supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences across EKU. This position provides leadership, coordination, and support for instructional design, educational technology, faculty partnerships, and unit operations, with a focus on usability, innovation, and student success.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Master's Degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, higher education, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Two to four years of related professional experience in instructional design, educational technology, learning management system support, faculty development, project coordination, or academic support services.
Experience working with faculty, staff, technology systems, and campus partners in a higher education setting is preferred.

  • Serve as the primary IDC connection with Information Technology, external technology providers, and campus partners.

  • Lead and coordinate CBE-related work and other strategic instructional initiatives connected to course design and development.

  • Support and guide LMS operations, instructional technology decisions, Canvas updates, course tools, and related system needs.
