! The California State Association of Counties (CSAC) serves as the effective advocate and unified voice of California's 58 counties. Through advocacy, education, collaboration, and communication, CSAC helps equip county leaders to better serve their communities. CSAC and the County Counsels' Association of California (CCAC) are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented Education & Events Coordinator to support member engagement, professional development programs, and association events. This role is a key point of contact for members and participants and helps ensure every program is organized, welcoming, and professionally delivered. Position Overview This frontline member-services role supports the successful delivery of CSAC's educational programs and events. The position requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities while creating a positive participant experience. This position reports to the Education & Events Manager. What you'll do Provide responsive support to members, participants, speakers, and other stakeholders. Coordinate logistics for educational programs, meetings, conferences, association events, webinars, and virtual programs. Manage registration, attendee tracking, program communications, materials, evaluations, completion certificates, and related records. Coordinate speaker and instructor scheduling, travel, presentations, and participant-engagement activities. Collect and analyze program data to evaluate participation, member engagement, and educational outcomes. What you bring 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, administrative support, event coordination, education program administration, membership services, or a related field. A high school diploma or equivalent; an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities will be considered. Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities while working independently and collaboratively. Experience with registration, association management, learning management, event, or similar systems. Comfort tracking program data, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate documentation. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Familiarity with ASM, registration, and learning management systems Experience with data tracking, reporting, and program documentation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Work environment and travel Work is performed primarily in an office environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and working at a computer Ability to travel throughout California to support conferences, meetings, trainings, site visits, and other association events 25-35% Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours during conferences, events, and peak program periods Ability to lift, carry, and transport program materials, registration supplies, and event equipment weighing up to 25 pounds Ability to move between meeting rooms, event venues, registration areas, and office locations while supporting program delivery and participant services Offers a very generous benefits package!

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
