Special Education Evaluation Coordinator - Minnesota Connections Academy

School Summary Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) is a tuition-free, online public charter school for students in grades K-12 throughout Minnesota. MNCA is a member of the Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS), a K-12 academic community. MNCA is a state-approved online program operated through a contract with Connections Academy of Minnesota, LLC, to provide the educational program and other services. MNCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED. Position Summary This hybrid role (one in-office day, four remote) provides administrative support for the Special Education team. The Special Education Administrative Assistant II is responsible for a variety of daily tasks, including answering phones and emails, maintaining Special Education student records, printing and mailing paperwork, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Primary role - Traveling testing proctor; coordinate related providers for evaluations Coordinate third-party vendors for the evaluations (pre-referrals, referrals, tracking spreadsheets, and company contact IAs) Coordinate Live Services for the evaluations (pre- referral & referral data views, tracking sheets, and company contact IAs) Track triennial due dates on a spreadsheet for all Evaluation Managers assigned to them Complete face-to-face administration of the academic evaluations

Requirements:

Use the Connexus learning management system to maintain Special Education records Send outgoing requests for records to other schools for newly enrolled students, and respond to incoming requests for records Assist families and school districts with Special Education records-related inquiries Enter student data into the state reporting system Print and mail paperwork to families and school districts daily Print and file physical records on site Assist administration with a wide variety of special projects Answer phones and greet guests Other duties as assigned Please note that two-step authentication is required to set up and access all systems if a job offer is extended.

The anticipated starting salary for Minnesota-based individuals expressing interest in this position begins at $22.00 per hour.
