Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Foundations educator to inspire and support young learners in their foundational academic and social development. This role is vital in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes early childhood growth, literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a strong understanding of childhood development to foster a love for learning and help students build essential skills for future success. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental needs, ensuring alignment with educational standards and regulations. Design and deliver differentiated instruction in core subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies to meet individual student needs. Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to inform instruction and support student growth. Incorporate educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate interactive lessons. Foster positive classroom management strategies that promote respectful behavior, active participation, and a safe learning environment. Collaborate regularly with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and student support initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities or concerns. Support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention services, including working with specialists such as speech therapists or behavioral specialists. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, behavior management, and inclusive teaching practices. Qualifications Proven experience teaching young children in an elementary school setting with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction techniques. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring special education services. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and parent engagement. Knowledge of educational technology integration and learning management systems. Ability to analyze student performance data to tailor instruction effectively. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in elementary education. Prior experience in private or Montessori school environments is a plus. Certifications or training related to early childhood education or special education are highly desirable.
