Support multiple outpatient oncology and infusion locations throughout the Knoxville region. About the Opportunity We are seeking a Nursing Education Coordinator to support clinical education, onboarding, competency development, and professional practice across a growing oncology and infusion services network. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to help shape education programs, standardize clinical training, and drive nursing excellence across multiple locations. This position partners closely with nursing leadership to implement best practices, support regulatory compliance, and ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Lead orientation and onboarding programs for newly hired clinical staff. Develop and deliver clinical education, in-service training, and competency programs. Coordinate ongoing staff education related to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice. Facilitate classroom education, hands-on skills training, and one-on-one coaching. Assist with annual competency validation and clinical performance evaluations. Create, revise, and maintain educational materials, documentation tools, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate records of staff education and training activities. Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical practice standardization across multiple sites. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and leaders.

Qualifications Required:

Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and Office 365. Ability to travel between multiple clinical locations in the Knoxville area.

Preferred:

Previous experience with staff development, nursing education, precepting, onboarding, or clinical leadership. Experience in oncology, infusion, ambulatory care, or specialty practice settings.
