This role will coordinate daily implementation activities across partner schools in Texas and Mississippi, managing well‑defined projects with clear outcomes. This role monitors timelines and deliverables, implements effective systems and processes, and sets both short‑ and long‑term goals to support successful project execution. This position is grant funded which is renewed under the provisions of the grantor of the agreement. Essential Duties/Tasks Project Management - Manages project portfolios in line with business strategies and in accordance with project management standards. Coordinate and oversee day-to-day project implementation activities across assigned partner schools in Texas and Mississippi. Manages projects in which the problem and solution are well-defined and easy to achieve. Monitor timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure adherence to the approved project scope and logic model. Implements systems and processes. Establishes short and long-term goals for project delivery. Professional Development & Curriculum - Oversee the development and implementation of a 3-5 literacy program grounded in the Science of Reading. Assist with developing curriculum and trains teachers, preservice teacher coaches, and tutors. Coordinate with the Literacy coordinator the planning and delivery of professional development for tutors, preservice teacher coaches, and participating educators. Assist with the implementation of coaching and feedback cycles, including real-time feedback protocols. Assist in supervising preservice teacher coaches. Oversee the selection and organization of the tutoring manipulative kits and teacher supplement kits. Oversee and manage the revisions to the LIS Strategies Guidebook and the LIS Tutoring Resource Binder, ensuring updates are completed, accurate, and aligned with program needs. Assist in collecting and organizing training feedback to support iterative improvement of professional learning activities. Support the development, maintenance, and ongoing refinement of training materials for external users. Oversee and assist in coordinating the development and enhancement of tutoring lessons aligned with the Science of Reading (SOR) and Literacy‑Infused Science (LIS) frameworks. Stakeholder Coordination - Periodically conducts meetings with stakeholders to schedule and coordinate project activities. Collaborates with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Facilitates internal team and external stakeholder meetings and maintains accurate minutes. Communicates project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Addresses stakeholder concerns, manages expectations, and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Coordinate and schedule virtual classroom observations of treatment and comparison teachers. Data Collection & Monitoring - Track and verify: VPD attendance and engagement, completion of teacher reflections and surveys (pre/post LIS strategy use), observation data and action research logs. Coordinate teacher-led classroom action research cycles, including six-week observation windows. Monitor fidelity of tutoring implementation using the researcher-developed literacy tutor observation rubric. Support coordination of student-level data collection, including: State assessments, Iowa Assessments (ITBS) reading and science subtests, district formative reading progress assessments (fluency), MSSL instrument administration. Reporting and Documentation - Prepares accurate and comprehensive project reports, including financial updates, progress against milestones, and change management processes. Completes all required project documentation and reports for clients and management. Maintains project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and lessons learned. Conducts data analysis and reports to determine project health and completion metrics. Gathers qualitative and quantitative data for project stakeholders. Team Leadership - Manages and supervises the project team. Assigns and monitors tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring balanced workloads and optimal utilization of skills. Fosters a collaborative team environment that promotes effective communication and knowledge sharing. Identifies team members' training and development needs and provides coaching and mentoring as necessary. Quality Assurance - Ensures adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and organizational standards. Monitors project deliverables for quality and compliance with established guidelines and regulations. Implements appropriate quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience.Preferred Education:
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Education, Educational Psychology, or Education Leadership or related field.Preferred Qualifications:
Research related experience. Experience in working with public rural schools. Experience as a teacher or Administrator in Texas or Mississippi. Familiarity with school culture. Experience mentoring/supporting teachers. Experience developing virtual professional development. Experience with literacy and science curriculum development.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Demonstrated experience working with varying populations. Strong professional communication skills. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office. Organized attention to detail. Strong proficiency in Canvas LMS.
