We're seeking an experienced and passionate Curriculum Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our educational programs across all classrooms. Position Summary The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing age-appropriate curriculum across all classrooms (infant through school-age), ensuring alignment with Children's Lighthouse educational philosophy, state licensing standards, and best practices in early childhood education. This role works closely with teachers, the Center Director, and families to ensure high-quality, consistent learning experiences for every child. Responsibilities Review, update, and implement curriculum plans for all age groups in line with center philosophy and state early learning standards Train, coach, and support teachers in curriculum implementation Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to improve teaching practices Ensure curriculum supports key developmental domains (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language) Lead staff professional development sessions Partner with the Center Director on staffing, ratios, and program quality Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and health/safety regulations Track child progress and guide teachers in using assessment data Communicate curriculum updates to families as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required (Master's preferred) 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience in early childhood/school-age settings Curriculum development or instructional coaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of state early learning standards Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must meet state childcare licensing requirements (background check, health screening) Skills Curriculum design and lesson planning across multiple age groups Instructional coaching and staff mentorship Child assessment and developmental tracking Strong written and verbal communication (staff, parents, and administration)
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
