Primary Purpose:
Provide direct academic support services to identified students. Work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide leadership, support, classroom modeling, coaching, and staff development to teachers in related subject-area. Provides coaching and support to classroom teachers to ensure the student growth. Work with students individually and in small groups, bringing them up to grade level reading and/or math standards.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree or in process of completing master's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate 3 years of teaching experience required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum, curriculum design and implementation and instruction Knowledge of intervention instructional strategies and best practices Ability to instruct students and manage behavior Ability to interact positively with students, parents, and educators Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide intervention support to at-risk students and support classroom teaching Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Hutto ISD Talent Management & Personnel Support Hutto ISD Pay Scales & Start Stop Calendar
