Job Description

Safe Circle Home Care is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and professional Community Relations & Education Coordinator to represent our agency through community engagement, educational events, and relationship-building initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults, educating the community, speaking with groups, and creating meaningful connections with seniors, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners. The Community Relations & Education Coordinator will serve as an ambassador for Safe Circle Home Care by hosting senior engagement activities, delivering educational presentations, and strengthening relationships with organizations that support older adults and their families. Key Responsibilities Community Events & Senior Engagement
  • Plan, coordinate, and host community engagement events at senior living communities, senior centers, and community partner locations.
  • Facilitate activities such as: Bingo socials
  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment for seniors and community members.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including supplies, materials, refreshments, setup, and cleanup.
  • Represent Safe Circle Home Care professionally and build positive relationships with residents, families, and facility staff. Educational Presentations & Lunch & Learns
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging Lunch & Learn presentations for senior living communities, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and caregiver groups.
  • Present educational topics related to aging, home care, caregiver support, fall prevention, dementia awareness, and other senior care topics approved by Safe Circle Home Care.
  • Facilitate discussions and answer questions from attendees in a professional and informative manner.
  • Prepare presentation materials, handouts, and educational resources. Community Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with:
  • Senior living communities
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Social workers
  • Case managers
  • Community organizations
  • Other local referral partners
  • Attend networking events, health fairs, and community activities as a representative of Safe Circle Home Care.
  • Deliver educational materials and agency information to community partners.
  • Identify opportunities to increase community awareness of Safe Circle Home Care services. Event & Outreach Support
  • Maintain event supplies, promotional materials, and educational resources.
  • Document events and outreach activities for internal tracking and marketing purposes (with appropriate permissions).
  • Provide feedback regarding community engagement opportunities and partnership development. Qualifications
  • Passion for serving seniors and supporting the community.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable personality.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage event responsibilities.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Central Texas service area. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, home care, nursing, caregiving, education, community outreach, hospitality, or event coordination.
  • Experience delivering presentations, training, or educational programs.
  • Experience building professional relationships with community organizations.
  • Knowledge of senior care services is preferred but not required. Schedule
  • Part-time, event-based schedule.
  • Approximately 1-5 events per month initially, with opportunities for additional hours as community partnerships grow.
  • Some events may occur during business hours, evenings, or weekends.
Compensation $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Additional compensation considerations:
  • Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel.
  • Compensation may vary based on event complexity, presentation responsibilities, and experience level.
