Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Position Summary The Instructional Systems & Implementation Administrator is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and technical readiness of instructional technology systems across the district. This role ensures that all instructional tools and classroom technology environments are scalable, reliable, and fully prepared for successful implementation. This position serves as the bridge between technical systems and instructional use, with primary responsibility for implementation architecture, system readiness, and district-wide AV standards. Primary Responsibilities 1. Instructional Technology Implementation Leadership Lead implementation planning for new instructional technology tools Develop and maintain standardized onboarding processes, timelines, and readiness checklists Coordinate rollout sequencing in collaboration with Technology and Curriculum teams Identify implementation risks and scalability challenges prior to district-wide deployment Provide recommendations to leadership regarding rollout readiness and timing 2. Technical Readiness & Systems Alignment Partner with the Application Specialist to ensure: Accurate rostering and data synchronization SSO configuration and access management System reliability and performance Validate that all instructional tools are technically ready prior to teacher-facing training Monitor vendor updates and assess impact on system functionality and user experience 3. District AV & Classroom Technology Systems Management Establish and maintain district standards for classroom audiovisual (AV) systems Develop lifecycle plans for classroom technology equipment, including refresh and replacement schedules Coordinate large-scale AV installations and vendor partnerships Provide strategic direction to technical staff responsible for AV deployment and support Ensure classroom technology environments support effective instructional tool usage 4. Cross-Functional Coordination & Pilot Support Participate in instructional technology pilots to evaluate system readiness and scalability Ensure alignment between technical setup, instructional needs, and operational timelines Collaborate with the Instructional Technology Coordinator to align training timelines with system readiness Communicate implementation status, risks, and dependencies to leadership Decision-Making Authority Establishes implementation processes and technical readiness criteria Advises leadership on rollout timing, risks, and system limitations Recommends solutions to improve scalability and system performance Role Boundaries Does not define instructional expectations or curriculum alignment Does not serve as the primary designer of professional development Does not override curriculum leadership or instructional coaching structures Collaboration Expectations Works closely with: Application Specialist

  • instructional alignment prior to rollout Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, technology, or related field Prior K-12 experience preferred (teaching or instructional support) Experience managing technology implementations or large-scale systems Strong technical aptitude (SSO, data systems, device ecosystems, AV systems) Demonstrated project management and organizational skills Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Other combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered Preferred Qualifications Experience with student information systems and rostering tools Experience managing AV systems or classroom technology infrastructure Familiarity with instructional technology platforms and digital learning tools Experience coordinating vendors and managing contracts or service agreements Success Indicators Reduced technical issues during and after instructional tool rollout Faster and more consistent onboarding timelines Standardized and reliable classroom AV environments Improved coordination between technical readiness and training delivery Increased scalability and sustainability of instructional technology systems
