YMCA of Greater Montgomery Job Description The Enterprise Family YMCA is seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching dance to a variety of age groups and skill levels, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for children, teens, and adults. Create lesson plans that accommodate different skill levels and promote skill development. Encourage a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Organize and coordinate dance recitals, performances, and special events. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for students. Collaborate with YMCA staff to promote dance programs and community involvement. Ensure all classes comply with YMCA policies and safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a dance instructor or similar role. Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages. Organizational skills to manage class schedules and events effectively. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
