Overview The Dance Factor is seeking a temporary dance instructor (ages 5+) for two acrobatics classes and one hip hop class for 4-6 weeks.

Class times are:

Monday 7:15-8:10 p.m.; Wednesday 5:55-6:40 p.m.; and Wednesday 6:45-7:40 p.m. Please do not apply if you can't make these times.

•Candidate must be able to start immediately.

•Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans for dancers of varying ages and skill levels in: Acrobatics Hip Hop Instruction should include structured warm-ups, technical training, choreography, musicality, and age-appropriate progressions designed to support beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers ages 5 and above. Manage classroom behavior effectively by implementing positive behavior management strategies that promote respect, focus, and safety. Create a supportive environment that nurtures students' growth in dancing skills, childhood development, and self-expression. May be eligible to substitute teach other classes as needed in the styles of ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, preschool, and/or tap. Qualifications 3-5 years of dance experience preferred. Will consider candidates with 3 years or less experience. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional best practices for young learners. Ability to work effectively with children and students with special educational needs or behavioral challenges. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay:

$13.00 - $25.00 per hour
