In person (Fort Smith Metropolitan Area) About Tatum Collective Established in 2005, Tatum Collective provides on-site arts enrichment programs for early childhood and elementary-aged students. We partner with schools and learning centers to deliver high-quality dance and fine arts instruction to children who might not otherwise have access to these experiences. We are a supportive, collaborative, and fun team that values professionalism, creativity, and a genuine love for children. Position Overview Tatum Collective is seeking enthusiastic and dependable dance instructors to work with young children throughout the Fort Smith Metropolitan Area. Instruction takes place on-site at partner schools during the school day and after school. This position is ideal for college students, recent graduates, or working artists with strong dance experience who enjoy working with young children. Formal degrees are not required — reliability, warmth, and real-world experience matter most. Responsibilities
  • Lead age-appropriate dance and movement classes
  • Teach ballet, tap, jazz, and creative movement
  • (Preferred) Experience in hip-hop, musical theater, or early gymnastics
  • Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate professionally with staff and school partners Qualifications
  • Genuine love for working with children
  • Dance experience in a studio or performance setting
  • Comfortable leading or assisting group classes
  • Approximately 5 years of dance and/or musical theater experience preferred
  • Instructional experience is a plus, but not required
  • Dependable and open to training in curriculum and classroom management
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to pass a background check Additional Requirements
