The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a commitment to educating students of all ages. This role involves teaching various dance styles, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Dance Instructor will play a crucial role in nurturing students' love for dance while promoting physical fitness and artistic expression. Duties Teach a variety of dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression. Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other events to showcase student talent. Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the curriculum and share best practices. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all students. Skills Strong background in dance with proficiency in ballet and other styles. Experience in curriculum development tailored for various age groups. Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively engage young learners. Ability to educate students with diverse needs, including those with special education requirements. Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and motivate students. Creativity in choreography and lesson planning to keep classes dynamic and enjoyable.
