In this role, you will lead engaging jazz dance classes, foster creativity, and develop comprehensive curricula that enhance students' technical skills and artistic expression. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a love for dance while promoting physical fitness, coordination, and confidence. Duties Design and implement innovative jazz dance curricula tailored to various skill levels Lead lively, well-structured dance classes that emphasize technique, rhythm, and performance skills Choreograph routines for performances, recitals, or showcases that highlight students' progress and talents Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages participation and respect Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic growth and technical improvement Collaborate with other instructors or program coordinators to develop themed projects or special events Maintain a safe, clean, and organized studio environment conducive to active learning and creativity Requirements Proven experience in teaching jazz dance or related performing arts disciplines with a focus on youth education Strong background in choreography, dance instruction, and curriculum development for diverse age groups Experience working with children or young adults in educational or extracurricular settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts, including theater experience or musical instruments is a plus Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate creative arts instruction and developmental principles Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members effectively Join us as a Jazz Dance Instructor and bring your passion for dance to life by inspiring creativity, building confidence, and fostering a love of the arts in every student you teach!
