About Tippi Toes East Bay At Tippi Toes East Bay, we bring dance directly to preschools and elementary schools throughout the East Bay. Our mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and joy through dance in a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels seen, supported, and successful. We are not a traditional dance studio. We partner with schools to provide convenient onsite dance classes where children can learn, grow, and have fun alongside their classmates. Our curriculum, lesson plans, music, and choreography are all provided, allowing instructors to focus on teaching, connecting with students, and creating a magical classroom experience. Who We're Looking For We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable dance instructors who are passionate about working with children and are looking for a long-term teaching opportunity. We are looking for instructors who are interested in growing with Tippi Toes and making a long-term commitment to our students, families, and team. Qualifications At Tippi Toes East Bay, we value instructors who bring: Positive energy and professionalism Excellent communication skills Reliability and flexibility Strong classroom management skills Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity A passion for dance education and inspiring young children Requirements Strong dance background required Training and/or teaching experience in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop preferred Experience teaching or working with children preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Willingness to complete a background check and fingerprinting Responsibilities Teach engaging weekly dance classes using the Tippi Toes curriculum and choreography Create a fun, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment Arrive prepared and on time to assigned school locations Maintain positive classroom management and student engagement Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and management Represent Tippi Toes with enthusiasm, professionalism, and positivity Location & Schedule Tippi Toes East Bay serves partner schools throughout Fremont, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Walnut Creek, concord and surrounding East Bay communities. Instructors travel to assigned partner schools based on their preferred commuting area. Reliable transportation is required. Compensation & Benefits $24-$35 per class taught (based on experience) $18/hour for training, meetings, and other duties Flexible schedule Paid sick time Referral program
