Job Summary:

Dance LA is seeking a passionate, friendly, and reliable Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in multiple styles of dance — including Creative Dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop — and is excited to work with students ranging from toddlers to adults.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach engaging and age-appropriate dance classes using our structured curriculum and lesson plans Foster a warm and encouraging classroom environment that reflects Dance LA's values Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, and team members Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to ensure consistent program quality Support studio events, recitals, and performance opportunities throughout the year Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful studio space Commit to teaching weekly classes throughout the full dance school year (Sept-June)

Qualifications:

1+ years teaching experience in at least 2 of the following styles: Creative Dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop Strong background in working with children and/or adults Positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong sense of responsibility Clear, friendly, and effective communicator Ability to follow curriculum while bringing your own creativity and energy to class Background in childcare, education, or youth mentorship is a plus CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is a bonus
