Job Description
Tutu School Monterey is looking for phenomenal part-time ballet instructors for young children. Our ideal applicants should have experience working with young children, a dance background (ballet preferred) and experience in theatre/entertainment (preferred but not required). Tutu School is a quaint boutique of a ballet school that provides a creative dance education experience for children from 6 months to 8 years-old. It is a place where students are urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet, but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets. At Tutu School Monterey we look for magic makers. On our team, we want hearts that never stopped twirling and minds that thrive on creativity. We are looking for teachers who love working with young children and are invested in nurturing the big dreams and minds of young dancers. We want our teachers to have a strong background in dance and theatre/entertainment, have great communication skills, and strong commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum.
