Join our vibrant team as a Dance & Gymnastics Instructor dedicated to inspiring young children aged 2 to 6 through engaging, energetic, and developmentally appropriate movement classes. In this role, you will foster a safe, fun, and motivating environment where early learners can explore dance, gymnastics, and basic sports skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate confidence, coordination, and a love for physical activity in our youngest students. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's physical development while honing your coaching and teaching skills. Responsibilities Teach engaging dance and gymnastics classes for children ages 2-6 . Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons aligned with our curriculum. Instruct students in ballet, jazz, creative movement, beginner gymnastics, and motor skill development. Demonstrate proper techniques while emphasizing safety, coordination, and confidence. Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage each child's individual growth through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents when needed. Collaborate with fellow instructors to coordinate performances, special events, and seasonal showcases. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment. Qualifications Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units desirable. Must be 18+ Years Old Previous experience teaching dance and/or gymnastics to young children preferred. Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate children with patience, enthusiasm, and creativity. Knowledge of ballet, jazz, creative movement, or gymnastics instruction is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour

In person Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is essential Demonstrated skills in teaching physical education, dance, gymnastics, or sports coaching for young children Knowledge of child development principles relevant to ages 2-6 years old Experience with behavior management strategies to promote positive engagement and safety CPR and First Aid/ AED operation certification is a plus but not required Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Join us to inspire the next generation of movers!
