Position Overview We are seeking an energetic and engaging Cheer & Hip Hop Instructor to lead an after-school enrichment program for elementary students. The instructor will introduce students to basic cheerleading and hip hop dance techniques while promoting teamwork, confidence, creativity, and physical fitness in a fun and supportive environment. Responsibilities Plan and le ad age-appropriate cheer and hip hop dance lessons for K-6 students Teach basic choreography, rhythm, coordination, and movement skills Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere Maintain student engagement and manage classroom behavior appropriately Prepare simple routines that may be showcased at the end of the program Communicate professionally with school staff and program coordinators Ensure student safety at all times Qualifications Experience teaching or performing cheer, hip hop, or dance (youth experience preferred) Ability to work with elementary-aged children High energy, patience, and strong classroom management skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Must be able to pass required background checks Preferred Skills Prior after-school or youth program instruction experience Ability to adapt instruction for mixed age and skill levels Strong communication and leadership skills
