Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, creative, and inspiring After-School K-Pop Dance Teacher who loves working with children and has a passion for K-pop dance. The ideal candidate creates a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment where students build confidence, develop dance skills, and express themselves through movement. Key Responsibilities Teach engaging K-pop dance classes for elementary and middle school students. Choreograph age-appropriate routines inspired by popular K-pop artists and trends. Break down choreography into easy-to-follow steps for dancers of varying skill levels. Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage teamwork, confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Ensure student safety by leading proper warm-ups, stretching, and cool-downs. Prepare students for optional showcases, performances, or school events. Maintain classroom organization and communicate professionally with program staff and parents when needed. Arrive prepared with lesson plans, music, and activities that keep students engaged. Qualifications Experience teaching dance to children in a school, studio, or community setting. Strong knowledge of K-pop dance styles and current choreography trends. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Enthusiastic, patient, and able to motivate young learners. Ability to adapt lessons for different ages and skill levels. CPR/First Aid certification is an asset. Background check (if required by the organization).
