Job Description
Creative Kids Movement Network | South Denver Area Part Time | Weekday Daytime Hours Creative Kids Movement Network hiring energetic and reliable Kids Movement Instructors to teach fun enrichment classes at preschools and elementary schools throughout the South Denver area. Our programs help children build confidence, coordination, strength, and a love of movement through engaging activities including fitness games, dance, and yoga. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants a flexible schedule during school hours. Job Responsibilities Lead fun, structured enrichment classes for children ages 2 to 10 Teach movement based programs following our curriculum and provided lesson plans Create a positive and encouraging environment Communicate professionally with school staff and directors Set up and clean up provided class equipment Track attendance and provide brief class updates when needed Safely manage groups of 5 to 15 children Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Background in fitness, dance, yoga, athletics, education, or childcare High energy, engaging personality Strong reliability and punctuality Ability to follow curriculum and adapt lesson plans to lead a group of children in active play and movement Must be 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent Must have valid Driver License Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to complete background check as defined by state laws Must be willing to complete CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 30 days of employment if you are not already certified Ability to lead, demonstrate and participate in physical activity classes confidently Preferred but not required Teaching experience Group fitness, dance instruction, personal training, or yoga certification Early childhood education experience Schedule Weekday daytime hours Classes occur between 9 AM and 4:30 PM MT Each class is 30 to 45 minutes Pay is $20 to $60 per class depending on experience and assistant/lead status Paid training provided Opportunities to add more classes as programs grow Location
